By Etta Moncur

You've got this belly fat and you've tried lots of ways to lose it to no avail!
It's no mystery that being overweight particularly around your belly results from eating too much of the wrong food for the lifestyle you lead.
When men put on extra weight they tend to put this weight on around their middle.
Women on the other hand tend to put on the extra weight first of all on their hips and thighs.
As more women become overweight there will be a greater percentage of women carrying belly fat also.
Women also put on stomach fat when they are suffering from the menopause.
When you diet you will notice that your stomach fat is the last place you will lose fat from.
Hence the reason why so many people give up.
I'll give you 7 tips for belly fat loss which will make it possible for you to get results quickly.
It really is possible to lose weight from your belly but you'll need to take ACTION and stick with the action consistently.

1. What Do You Eat?
Begin by looking at what you eat. We eat too many refined carbohydrates. Carbs are meant to give us energy but we eat too many for our activity levels.
If you don't exercise much and don't have an active life then you won't burn off the calories and this will turn to fat.
Replace refined processed carbs with unrefined carbs - brown bread, rice and pasta instead of white. Cut out or severely cut down on empty carbs - biscuits, sweets, cakes, pastries.
They will provide energy surges followed by slumps and increase your likelihood of diabetes in later life.
2. What Quantity of Food do You Eat?
Look at the quantities you eat. You may be eating too much.
Eat slower by spending time really enjoying the taste of the food. Slow down in your eating.
It takes 20 minutes for your brain to register that you are full. Use a smaller plate. Some people go on a diet and severely restrict the quantity that they eat.
Watch that you are actually eating enough food as bizarrely some people go on a severe diet and your body will slow down your metabolism if you don't eat enough.
3. How Often Do You Eat
Always eat breakfast. Your first meal of the day after sleeping for say 8 hours is very important.
Have a a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack of fruit, yogurt, nuts or seeds.
Don't skip lunch and don't reach for junk foods. Have healthy foods.
Eat your evening meal before 7pm and eat mainly protein based saving the bulk of your carbs for earlier in the day.
Eating 5 times daily will boost your metabolism.
4. Drink 6-8 glasses of Water a Day
You may be thirsty instead of hungry as you may not feel thirsty.
If you suffer from sinus problems and/or constipation to mention a few health issues caused by de-hydration you may not be drinking enough water.
5. Restrict Your Intake of Alcohol and Fizzy Drinks
These are laden with calories particularly beer and rapidly turns to belly fat.
If you are eating healthier it makes sense to avoid too much alcohol.
6. Exercise
6. Exercise
This will reduce fat from your body by gaining muscle and increasing your metabolism! The more muscle you work on the more calories you will burn.
Most people don't realise that working your muscles is the main thing that will burn fat while exercising.
This is the main thing that will burn fat while exercising.
7. Positive Thinking
Most diets do not work because people diet and exercise and see some positive results only to fall back later into their old eating and exercise patterns. What is required is an understanding that emotions are related to your thoughts about losing weight. You need to combat your thoughts to produce the correct actions.
I hope that my tips on belly fat loss have been useful to you in your search for a flat, well-toned stomach.
